Inn At Woodhaven-In The Heart Of The Bourbon Trail-Over 12 Distilleries Nearby

The Inn at Woodhaven occupies a 170-year-old Gothic home, one of only 14 such houses in the United States. Original 14-foot ceilings, hand-painted tulips on the dressing table, and period-correct furnishings give the property its character. The main house includes a welcoming parlor and multiple sitting areas where guests can socialize or read.

Breakfast is prepared to order by Chef Mark from a daily menu that includes options such as loaded omelets, biscuits and gravy, and chocolate chip pancakes. Locally sourced ingredients, fresh-baked pastries, and coffee cakes accompany the entree selections. The inn also offers afternoon tea service and a picnic for two that can be arranged for guests.

The inn maintains a bourbon collection of approximately 200 labels, available for tastings or by the glass in the common areas. Jeremy, the host, offers personalized whiskey tastings and is known for his Black Walnut Old Fashioned. Guests can also enjoy after-dinner cordials and a complimentary decanter of sherry in their room.

Dogs are welcome in select rooms, and the property provides pet bowls for convenience. A park with blacktop paths and a creek is located half a block away for walking pets. The inn offers ground-floor cottages and rooms with private entrances for easy access with pets.

Each of the guest rooms, such as the Rose Cottage, Garden Room Suite, and Attic Suite, comes with a private bath and a jetted tub or spa tub. Stearns and Foster mattresses and blackout curtains are standard across all accommodations. A hot tub on the back porch and a game room are available for guest use.
